Welcome to HospoCV. By accessing or using our platform at hospocv.com (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
By creating an account, accessing, or using HospoCV, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.
HospoCV reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with the "Last updated" date at the top refreshed.
Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
To use HospoCV, you must be at least 16 years of age. By creating an account or submitting a referral, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
HospoCV does not verify your right to work in any jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have appropriate work authorization with any employer you connect with through the Platform. Optional visa-status fields on your profile are informational only and not verified by HospoCV.
HospoCV reserves the right to refuse registration to any individual at its sole discretion.
To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for safeguarding access to your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
When you create a profile on HospoCV, you select a unique profile URL (also referred to as a "slug" or "username") that will be accessible at hospocv.com/your-username. This section governs the use and management of profile URLs.
Your profile URL is a license granted by HospoCV for your use of the Platform. You do not own your profile URL. This license is non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and subject to these Terms. HospoCV retains all rights, title, and interest in and to all profile URLs.
HospoCV reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, to reclaim, modify, reassign, or remove any profile URL at any time for any reason, including but not limited to:
Username squatting is prohibited. Profile URLs must represent real individuals with genuine intent to use the Platform for its intended purpose. You may not:
HospoCV may remove or reassign profile URLs that it reasonably believes are being squatted.

You may change your profile URL up to three (3) times. When you change your profile URL, your previous URL will automatically redirect (301) to your new URL to maintain link integrity. Previous URLs are retained indefinitely for redirect purposes and cannot be reclaimed once released. Choose your profile URL carefully.
In the event that HospoCV reclaims, modifies, or reassigns your profile URL pursuant to this Section, you will not be entitled to any compensation, refund, or damages of any kind.
You retain ownership of the content you submit to HospoCV ("User Content"), which includes your profile fields, work history, education, avatar, and referrals you write about other users. By submitting User Content, you grant HospoCV a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and perform your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

The recipient of a referral controls its visibility on their profile and may keep it private, hide it, or delete it at any time from their dashboard. HospoCV may also remove referrals that violate these Terms.
Referrals you wrote remain in the recipient's profile until you delete them (individually from your dashboard, or in bulk when you delete your account — see Privacy Policy §6.1 for the full deletion flow).
The Platform allows you to generate and download assets from your profile, including a printable CV, QR code, and business card. These assets are generated entirely within your browser — HospoCV does not generate or store these files on its servers.
You are solely responsible for how you distribute, share, or use any downloaded assets. Downloaded assets may contain personal information from your profile (name, role, contact details) that you chose to include.
HospoCV provides visual themes that change the appearance of your profile page. Themes are part of the Platform's design system and are licensed for your use on the Platform only. You do not acquire ownership of any theme design.
HospoCV may add, modify, archive, rename, or remove themes at any time without notice. Theme availability may vary by plan tier in the future.
The Platform allows you to save (bookmark) other users' profiles for your personal reference. Your saved profiles list is private and not visible to other users. The profile owner is not notified when you save their profile.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
The Platform and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by HospoCV and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
"HospoCV", the HospoCV logo, and other HospoCV marks (whether registered or unregistered) are marks of HospoCV. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by HospoCV, including but not limited to social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn), external websites linked from profiles, and mapping services (Google Maps).
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You access third-party links at your own risk.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
HospoCV does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Platform is free of viruses or other harmful components.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on you by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOSPOCV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HospoCV and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
HospoCV may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.
You may delete your account at any time from your Settings page. If you no longer have access to your account, you may also email us at privacy@hospocv.com. Upon deletion:
If you have a dispute with HospoCV, we encourage you to first contact us at legal@hospocv.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will endeavour to respond within 10 business days.
If the dispute is not resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue mediation in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, HospoCV will notify affected users and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as soon as practicable, and in any event within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, in compliance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and HospoCV regarding the Platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Waiver: The failure of HospoCV to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. HospoCV may assign these Terms without restriction.
